Ingredients: Shawarma
2lbs Chicken Thighs
2 Tbsp Shawarma Seasoning
5 Joseph’s 60cal Pitas
1 Cup Cherry Tomatoes
1/4 Head of Lettuce
16oz Baby Carrots
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
2/3 Cup Hummus
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Garlic Sauce
1 Egg White
2 Cloves of Garlic
1/2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1/4 tsp Salt
7 Tbsp Olive Oil
Directions:
Lightly spritz the chicken with olive oil. Add salt, pepper and shawarma seasoning to the chicken.
Place the chicken in the Air Fryer basket and air fry at 370°F for 20 minutes. Cut chicken into small pieces after it’s fully cooked. Set aside.
To make the garlic sauce, add egg white into a blender with salt, lemon juice and garlic. Blend until garlic is fully minced and egg whites start to foam (about 2-3 minutes).
Add in 1 Tbsp of olive oil and blend for 60 seconds. Repeat this step, adding 1 Tbsp of olive oil at a time, until all olive oil is added. The sauce should have a mayonnaise-like consistency by the end. Set aside.
Halve the tomatoes and chop the lettuce. Toss the tomatoes and lettuce with 1 Tbsp lemon juice to preserve freshness.
Evenly distribute the hummus into 5 2oz containers (about 2 Tbsp each).
Evenly distribute the chicken, garlic sauce, tomatoes, and lettuce into the 5 wraps. Pack the baby carrots as a side to dip into the hummus.
