Hello, hello, Fire Fam.


I cannot believe how long it has been since I’ve gotten on the microphone to record an episode for my podcast.


When I pulled it out, I almost cried. And I think internally that was my body telling me how happy and grateful I am to be back.


But honestly? It’s a lot keeping up with all of the things that feel necessary as a business owner just to make sure your business looks alive and well from the outside.

So people know that you’re here… doing your job.


And some days.. that’s tough.


Lately, I’ve been reassessing what’s important to me, where I want to be, and how I want to show up.

When Life Starts to Feel… Numb


There was a season of my life where I truly felt like I was just living on autopilot.


I remember sitting in a hot tub with a friend and asking:


“Is this just life? Like… you wake up and keep doing the same things over and over again… and that’s it?”

They looked at me like I had five heads.


Because from the outside?


Everything looked amazing.

  • I had my dream business

  • I was making great money

  • I had a home I loved

  • I built everything I said I wanted


But internally?


I felt disconnected.

I was losing the feeling of novelty. Excitement. Presence.

I was just… doing.



The Truth No One Talks About


Sometimes you can build the life you thought you wanted…

…and still feel empty inside it.


And that’s exactly what happened to me.


I hit a point where I had achieved so much, especially at a young age, that I didn’t know what came next.


And instead of feeling fulfilled…

I felt stuck.


Like I had to maintain everything I built.

Like if I changed anything, I might lose it all.


And underneath that?


There was a deeper truth:


My identity and self-worth had become tied to my success.

And when that started to unravel…

So did I.

How to Come Alive Again: 5 Steps That Changed My Life


These are the exact steps that helped me move through one of the hardest, most confusing seasons of my life.


1. Reassess What Actually Matters to You


When you’re going through the motions, you become numb.


You don’t even remember the last time you felt deep joy.


So you have to ask:

What actually matters to me right now?


Because if you’re a type A, high-achieving woman (like I was), it’s really easy to lose sight of the simple things that bring you life.


You’re so focused on achieving…

That you forget how to feel.



2. Learn the Language of Your Body


Your body is your guide.

It has all the answers.


But if you’ve been disconnected from it?

You’re going to feel lost.

Like you’re in a fog with no direction.


Reconnecting can feel uncomfortable at first because that disconnection is often what helped you succeed.


But coming back to your body is how you come back to yourself.


This can look like:

  • Noticing where emotions live in your body

  • Practicing stillness or meditation

  • Exploring tools like human design or astrology for reflection


You’re not trying to become someone new.

You’re remembering who you are.



3. Make Micro Shifts (Not Extreme Changes)


This is where most people get it wrong.


They think:

“I need to completely change my life.”

No.

You need to make 1% shifts.


Because your nervous system will reject big, sudden change even if it’s good for you.


Think:

  • 5 minutes of alone time

  • Small moments of joy

  • Tiny acts of self-connection


It should feel almost too easy.

That’s how you create real, lasting change.



4. Stop Shaming Yourself and Start Observing


You are going to slip up.

That’s part of the process.


But instead of spiraling into:

“I can’t believe I did that…”

Shift into:

“That’s data.”


Look at your life like a science experiment.

  • What worked?

  • What didn’t?

  • What can I adjust?


The less emotional you are about your “mistakes,” the faster you grow.



5. Regulate Your Nervous System Daily


This is the piece most people skip.

And it’s the reason they can’t sustain change.


Your body needs to feel safe to hold a new version of you.

That means actively processing stress.


Some of my favorite tools:

  • Movement

  • Breathwork

  • EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

  • Crying

  • Laughter

  • Creative expression

  • Co-regulation with safe people

  • Yes… even orgasms


These are not “extra.”

These are your medicine.



The Real Reason You Feel Stuck


It’s not because you’re lazy.

It’s not because you’re doing life wrong.

It’s because you’ve outgrown a version of yourself…

…and you don’t yet feel safe stepping into the next one.
