For most of my life, my identity was built around being an athlete. The structure, the discipline, the drive — it all gave me a sense of purpose. I felt powerful in my body.

Strong.

Clear.

Focused.

I knew exactly what I was working toward every single day.

But when I stepped away from competing, something shifted… and not in the way I expected.

Sure, I anticipated that my training would change. I knew I wouldn’t be chasing the next PR or pushing my body to its limits anymore. But what I didn’t expect was the identity crash that came afterwards.

Suddenly my strength was going down, my body was changing, and I didn’t recognize myself in the way I used to. It felt like the version of me who once felt unstoppable… was slowly disappearing.

I remember having this sinking thought:

“What if my prime is behind me?”

And that fear hit deeper than anything I’d ever experienced as an athlete.

The Grief No One Talks About After Your Athlete Era

When you spend years — sometimes decades — being “the strong one,” stepping out of that identity feels like a form of grief.

You miss the structure.

You miss having a clear goal.

You miss feeling like every workout means something.

And you miss the version of you who felt proud, capable, and confident.

At the same time, you’re tired.

Tired of pushing through old injuries.

Tired of the pressure to perform.

Tired of rigid nutrition rules.

Tired of acting like you’re fine while your body is begging for a different kind of care.

But even with all that… slowing down can feel scary.

Because the fear becomes: Who am I without this?

I Wanted to Rest… But I Was Afraid of What Would Happen

When I left competing, I was ready to slow down.

But I was equally terrified.

What would happen if I didn’t track everything?

What would happen if I wasn’t training intensely six days a week?

Would my body “fall apart”?

Would I lose the confidence I had built over years of hard work?

On the outside I was a dietitian — someone who people looked to for answers.

So I told myself I should be able to figure this out alone.

Except the truth?

I couldn’t.

And trying to do it on my own made everything harder.

The Turning Point

It wasn’t until I finally sought help — from mentors, coaches, teachers — that things began to shift.

For the first time, I explored what confidence could look like without extremes.

I learned how to nourish my body in a sustainable way.

I reconnected with my intuition.

I discovered a more feminine, grounded strength.

I healed the parts of me that felt lost without a goal to chase.

I learned how to feel powerful again — but from the inside out.

And that’s when everything changed.

How Body and Soul Freedom Was Born

After investing in countless programs, certifications, healers, and coaches… I realized something important:

There wasn’t one program that addressed everything women like us actually need.

Former athletes are a different breed.

We don’t just need macros.

Or mindset tips.

Or a workout plan.

Or meditation.

We need a full mind-body-soul reset.

We need guidance that honors our past while helping us build a new identity that feels just as meaningful.

So I took every tool, every lesson, every transformation I experienced — and created the program I wish existed years ago:

Body and Soul Freedom.

A 12-week holistic transformation for women who want to feel confident, strong, and fulfilled again — without rigid rules, pressure, or extremes.

It’s for the woman who still wants to value her health… but doesn’t want to be consumed by it.

It’s for the woman who wants balance… but also wants results.

It’s for the woman who wants to feel happy in her skin… without performing or proving anything.

It’s for the woman who’s ready to evolve.
